Expert artist-led workshop for creating stunning mixed media paintings. This workshop shows teams how to use the simple and versatile technique of image transfer to add images to paintings. Image transfer differs from collage because the paper is removed leaving the image as a thin layer of pigment. This can create beautiful translucent effects ideal for layering, without the hard edges found in collage. Explore different mediums for the transfer process, such as acrylic gel, and images from inkjet prints, laser prints and magazines.
